D & D Competition BBQ Pit

This is a one of a kind Competition BBQ Pit built by Texas BBQ Services in Houston, Texas. It is seasoned and ready to go! Please see the following:

Main Chamber; 3/8” thick carbon steel x 24” diameter and a barrel length of 77 5/8”, with 2 front doors and 1 back door including special designed hinges & stainless steel handles with high heat fiber micarta.  Stainless steel shelves, one on each side, ( 4’ x 14” &  6’ x 14”). There are 3 inside grates which can be easily removed for cleaning. The fire Box is double walled with 2200 deg F furnace insulation between  ¼” carbon steel inner and outer box. The firebox door is ½” carbon steel with 3 air inlets behind a wind baffle cover, smoke stack is 6” diameter to allow full flow draw with a height of 50 ½”. The pit is painted with 4 coats of high heat primer 1200 deg F, 4 coats of black high heat stove paint, and topped off with 3 coats of 1200 deg F clear coat.

The trailer is custom built for the BBQ pit, all carbon steel, powder coated red with Dexter torque flex axles with custom high polished aluminum  wheels and 15” Goodyear tires. Included is a custom two wheel dolly for the front with a 2   5/16” hitch.
